Do I need to enter my phone number and if so, why do I have to do it?

Unfortunately, we are often subject to online fraud by stolen credit cards or hacked Paypal accounts, which is why we sometimes ask our customers for a landline number, as we wish to protect our customers and ourselves from any unauthorised transactions.

In some cases, we will call you for a quick verification via phone to ensure that the order has been placed by you. In our experience, this has proven to be a reliable method of verification.

If we detect a fraudulent case, we can also contact the affected person and inform them how to deal with the situation. We have also quite often been able to prevent further harm to the affected person by this.

We can of course assure you that your number will not be used for any advertising and will not be given to any third party.
